In looking for an immigration attorney, beware of non-attorneys or “notarios” who are not allowed to provide immigration legal services. If you believe you may be a victim of fraud in your immigration case, please contact Project END at 202-552-3604.

Domestic Violence & Family Law Services

For survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking in D.C.

DC Clinic: Ayuda’s clinic for DC residents is currently being offered on a call-in basis only.

If you live in DC, are a survivor of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking, and need legal help with custody of your children, child support, divorce, a civil protection order, or your rights as a victim of crime,  call (202) 387-4848 or text (833) 422-0005 during business hours. 

Hours of operation:

  • 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

If you are in immediate danger call 9-1-1 or the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233.

For survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking in Maryland

If you live in Maryland, are a survivor of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking and need legal help with custody of your children, child support, divorce, a protective order, or your rights as a victim of crime, call (240) 594-0600 during business hours.

Case management and/or therapy remote services are available to immigrant victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Immigrant victims of human trafficking and child abuse or neglect may also be eligible for case management services.

If you live in DC, please call (202) 387-4848 Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for more information.
