Thank you to all those who joined us as we celebrated our 39th year!

Thanks to everyone who came to support Ayuda's 39^th Annual Awards Reception lApril 26^th, at the National Press Club. Thanks to our generous sponsors and donors, we were able to raise over $90,000 in support of our vital and holistic legal and social services! Thank you!

The special evening featured a live Brazilian Jazz performance by Emy Tseng as well as cocktails and hors d'ouvres.  Ayuda's Board Members, staff and friends gathered to recognize our truly wonderful accomplishments over the past year.

Awards were presented to those who have gone above and beyond to support Ayuda's vital and necessary mission. Ofelia Calderon received the Hugh Johnson Award for her exemplary mentorship and pro bono services. Mario Acosta accepted the Friends of Ayuda Award on behalf of Verizon for its steadfast support of Ayuda's domestic violence work. Lastly, Jean Bruggeman received the Milagro Beanfield Award for her long-time commitment to Ayuda's mission and excellent service to our organization. 

The evening was a wonderful success, much enjoyed by all who attended. Ayuda extends our sincerest thanks to our current and former Board members, staff and interns; as well as our Sponsors, donors, and friends. Each of them form an important part the Ayuda "family." Your continued support keeps Ayuda strong and able to provide high-quality legal and social services to some of the most vulnerable people in our midst. 

As we look back on 39 years of service, we recognize that there is much work still to be done.  The need for justice and relief is always present. On behalf of those that we serve, we thank you in advance for walking alongside us as we strive to fulfill the hopes and dreams of those who want the opportunity to thrive in our great nation.
